Refurbished Equipment that Qualifies for E-rate Funding

Including Refurbished equipment in an E-rate program allows participants additional freedom not available when only including new equipment. USAC and Eligibility

The Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) has been designated by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to provide funding ($3.9B annually) to schools and libraries for broadband and telecommunications access via the E-rate Program.

This program allows qualifying organizations to support and fund networking infrastructure platforms.

Funding discounts vary, depending of many qualifying factors such as the level of poverty, the urban/rural status of the population served, number of students per school and square footage of libraries.
